PayTime+ (“the App”) is developed by DifferenTech Solutions, A Unit of Tech Scholars Techology Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy describes how the App collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
a. Location Data (Foreground & Background)
The App collects location data only when your organization enables tracking. Location data is used for:
– Attendance verification
– Route validation
– Activity tracking
The App does not collect location data in the background unless tracking is explicitly turned ON by the relevant users organization.
b. Camera Access
The App requests access to the device camera for:
– Capturing attendance-related photos (when required by your organization)
– Allowing camera use inside the WebView
Camera access is only activated when you choose to use a feature requiring the camera. The App does not use the camera automatically.
c. Photos & Media (Images/Videos)
Based on Android requirements, the App may request permission to access:
– Photos (images)
– Videos
These permissions are used ONLY when:
– You choose to upload a file through the WebView (for attendance, documents, proofs, etc.)
The App does not scan, collect, or read your media files automatically. All access is user-initiated.
d. WebView Data
Since PayTime+ loads organizational web features inside the app:
– The WebView may store cookies, sessions, or cache
– This data remains local to your device
– We do not access or read this data outside the WebView environment
e. Device & App Information
The App may access limited device identifiers and OS information to:
– Improve performance
– Ensure compatibility
– Support background tracking services
No personal device data is collected beyond what is required for app functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly for:
– Location-based attendance and activity tracking
– Enabling file uploads, camera scans, and document submissions
– Improving app stability and resolving errors
– Displaying organization-specific content within the WebView
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
3. Data Security
We take all reasonable measures to keep your data safe using:
– Encrypted communication
– Secure storage mechanisms
However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.
4. Permissions Used
Location (Foreground & Background)
Used for real-time tracking and route validation when the organization enables tracking.
The app does not collect background location data unless tracking is active.
Camera
Used for capturing attendance photos or scanning within the WebView.
Photos & Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES & READ_MEDIA_VIDEO)
Used only when a user uploads a file through the WebView.
Notifications
Used to show tracking status, work-related alerts, and important updates.
Internet Access:
Required to sync data with the organization’s system and load the PayTime+ web dashboard through WebView.
Storage / Media Access
Used only for user-initiated actions such as downloading reports, policies, files, or uploading documents.
Foreground Services & Boot Permissions
Used to maintain background tracking when enabled by the organization and to restart services after device reboot (if allowed).
5. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal or location data with:
– Third-party advertisers
– External analytics services
– External partners
Data stays within your organization’s PayTime+ system.
6. Account & Session Management
Your login details and session are stored locally for convenience.
You may clear this data anytime by logging out from the app.
7. Children’s Privacy
This app is intended for employees and is not designed for children under 13.

We may update this policy when needed. The latest version will always be available on this page.
